How Much Do Fansly Agencies Take?

Last updated

Fansly agencies typically take between 20% and 60% of creator revenue, with most published rates sitting between 30% and 50%. Our own rate is 25% to 50%. The percentage on its own tells you very little, because agencies charge it on different amounts and bundle very different amounts of work behind it.

How much do Fansly agencies take, on gross or on net?

This is where most of the real money is decided, and it is the question creators forget to ask.

BasisWhat it meansEffect on a $10,000 month
Gross revenuePercentage of everything before Fansly’s 20%40% of $10,000 = $4,000
Net revenuePercentage of what reaches you after Fansly’s cut40% of $8,000 = $3,200
Agency-generated onlyPercentage of revenue the agency can attribute to its workDepends entirely on attribution

A 40% net rate and a 40% gross rate are $800 apart on a $10,000 month. Get the basis in writing from us and from anyone else you talk to.

Why the published ranges vary so much

An agency doing tier structure and a weekly report is doing a fraction of the work of an agency running 24/7 chat shifts across three time zones. The first cannot justify 50% and the second cannot survive on 20%. When you compare two quotes, compare the scope behind them before the number.

Watch for the rate that arrives with something attached. A 20% commission with a setup fee, a compulsory content package or a paid training programme usually costs more in the first quarter than a 40% rate with nothing upfront. Fansly agency scams covers the versions of this that cross into dishonesty.

What Fansly takes, separately

Fansly keeps 20% of creator revenue and pays out 80%. That is charged by the platform on top of whatever your agency charges, it applies to subscriptions, tips, paid messages and customs alike, and no agency can negotiate it.

So a creator on a 40% net agency rate keeps roughly 48% of gross: the platform takes 20%, and the agency takes 40% of the 80% that remains.

What counts as a fair rate

There is no regulator and no standard, so “fair” here means the rate where the work behind it is worth more to you than the percentage. Our test is simple. If you could do the work yourself in the time you have, the agency is overcharging at any rate. If you could not, the question is whether this agency does it competently, which is what the contract and the first thirty days should tell you.

Our commission study collects the rates agencies actually publish, with sources. Pricing explains where our own number lands and why.

Frequently asked questions

How much commission do Fansly agencies take?

Fansly agency commission is typically a percentage of the revenue an account generates. Bunny Agency charges 25%–50%, scaling with how much of the operation the agency runs, and states the exact rate in writing before a creator signs. Fansly itself separately keeps 20% of creator revenue.

Is agency commission charged on gross or net Fansly revenue?

Agency commission can be charged on gross revenue, on net revenue after Fansly’s 20% cut, or only on revenue the agency attributes to its own work, and the three produce very different bills. On a $10,000 month, a 40% rate on gross is $4,000 while 40% on net is $3,200. Creators should get the basis stated in writing before signing.

Do Fansly agencies charge upfront fees?

Our Fansly agency charges no setup fee, no retainer and no content package, and is paid only as a percentage of what an account earns. Some agencies do charge upfront, and a low commission attached to a setup fee or a paid training programme often costs more over the first quarter than a higher commission with nothing due in advance.
