Fansly Marketing and Promotion

Last updated

A Fansly marketing agency brings subscribers to your Fansly page from outside it. In the accounts we run, that traffic comes from X, Reddit, TikTok and Instagram, and your niche decides the mix. Fansly has its own Explore feed, but it does not publish how that feed ranks posts, so we do not build the plan around it.

Where does Fansly traffic come from?

Mostly from the platforms you already use. The table lists the four sources we work with, and the part of each one that nobody controls, an agency included.

SourceWhat it is forWhat nobody controls
X and RedditPutting previews in front of people already looking for content like yoursReddit’s rules change from one subreddit to the next, and a ban in the few that fit your niche costs more than a slow month
TikTok and InstagramMaking your face and name familiar with posts that contain no nudityNeither allows nudity, so nothing explicit goes there

Can an agency get you onto the Fansly Explore page?

No, and an agency that says it can is guessing. Explore shows posts to people who do not follow you, but Fansly does not publish how it ranks that feed, so there is nothing there to promise. We put the work into traffic from outside Fansly, which can be tracked and goes into the weekly report. The Fansly Explore page sets out what is known about it and what is not.

What does Fansly marketing cost?

Marketing outside the platform is part of our full service, which sits near the top of our 25%–50% commission range. There is no setup fee, no retainer and no paid promotion package on top. The exact rate for your account goes in writing before you sign, and pricing shows what each level includes.

Fansly keeps its own 20% of what the account earns. The platform charges that, and it has nothing to do with the agency rate.

Be careful with Fansly promoters who charge a flat fee for shoutouts, promotion packages or a “guaranteed” number of subscribers. They are paid whether or not a single subscriber arrives, while a commission is only paid on what the account actually earns.

What stays with you?

Your face and your brand stay yours, and you still decide what you shoot. The account stays yours too, because you keep the account email, the two-factor device and the payout details.

Marketing is one part of Fansly management, next to tiers, chat and retention. If you would rather do it yourself, how to grow on Fansly covers the same ground without an agency.

Frequently asked questions

Can a Fansly agency guarantee growth or Explore placement?

No Fansly agency can guarantee Explore page placement, because Fansly does not publish how that feed is ranked. A guaranteed revenue figure offered before an agency has seen an account is also not credible. What an agency can commit to in writing is the scope of work, the reporting schedule and the commission rate.

Do you need a following to join a Fansly agency?

A large following is not required to join our Fansly agency, and there is no follower minimum. An existing audience on another platform helps because it gives the account a starting source of traffic, but creators who have not launched anywhere are also accepted.

Can a creator run Fansly and OnlyFans at the same time?

A creator can run Fansly and OnlyFans simultaneously, because neither platform requires exclusivity and the same content library serves both. The main reason to do so is resilience rather than income, since one platform can change a policy or lose a payment processor. A second platform usually adds meaningful income without doubling total earnings.
